Alcohol-Based Hand Sanitizer: A Practical Guide to Everyday Hand Hygiene
Hand hygiene is an important part of maintaining cleanliness in everyday life. Whether you are at home, travelling, working in an office or managing a professional environment, having a convenient hand hygiene solution can help you maintain good hygiene practices throughout the day.
AlcohPure, a hand hygiene brand from Zreyasa, offers ethanol-based handrub formulations designed for situations where soap and water are not immediately available.
What is an alcohol-based hand sanitizer?
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are formulated to reduce many types of germs on the hands when used correctly. Depending on the formulation and intended use, they may contain ethanol or isopropyl alcohol alongside other ingredients.
Ethanol-based handrubs are commonly used in workplaces, public environments and everyday settings where convenient hand hygiene is important.
For visibly dirty or greasy hands, washing with soap and water remains the preferred option.
Why does alcohol concentration matter?
The alcohol concentration is an important factor when choosing a hand sanitizer. Different formulations are designed for different intended uses, and a higher concentration does not automatically mean that a product is more effective in every situation.
AlcohPure offers products including:
-
AlcohPure Total: An 80% ethanol handrub WHO formula with glycerol and hydrogen peroxide.
-
AlcohPure Plus: A 70% ethyl alcohol handrub formulated with chlorhexidine gluconate.
-
AlcohPure Pro: A 70% ethyl alcohol hand sanitizer gel range intended for convenient use.
Choosing a handrub for home and professional environments
When selecting a hand hygiene product, consider the environment in which it will be used.
For home and personal use, convenience, packaging and clear directions can make a difference. For offices, healthcare facilities and other professional environments, buyers may also consider pack sizes, dispenser compatibility, procurement requirements and product documentation.
Businesses purchasing hand hygiene products in bulk should assess the specific requirements of their workplace and choose products suitable for their intended use.
Make hand hygiene part of your daily routine
Good hand hygiene is built through consistent habits: cleaning your hands at appropriate times, using products as directed and avoiding unnecessary contact with your face when your hands may be contaminated.
AlcohPure offers ethanol-based hand hygiene options for customers looking for convenient handrub solutions.
